Innovations during a Recession: Trade Show Marketing Adaptations?
Last week I highlighted a recent development that our company has undertaken in response to the current economic climate: A “pre-packaged” rental exhibit line - custom rental look and feel, without the inherent cost of custom designing. For exhibitors facing a lean 2009 marketing budget, it is fulfilling the niche occupied by companies that need the look and feel of custom built booths, but without spending an arm and a leg.
Enough about us, already! Anyone else care to share their stories of innovations that they’ve implemented or seen so far in 2009? Exhibit installers? A/V companies? Lead retrieval, floral? Models?
